Disneyland Paris Low Season /High Season
Knowing when Disneyland Paris is busiest (and when it’s not) can make a big difference in how much you enjoy your visit. Here’s a quick breakdown of the two main seasons:

If you’re hoping for fewer crowds and lower prices, the low season—typically early November through the end of March—is a great time to visit. Just keep in mind that the holiday stretch from late November through New Year’s brings bigger crowds and higher prices, so that window is an exception.
Traveling during the low season means you’ll likely enjoy shorter wait times and a more relaxed park experience. But there are a few trade-offs to consider. The weather in Paris can be pretty chilly this time of year. And yes, there’s a chance you might see snow.
Some rides and shows are paused for refurbishment. Daily entertainment also tends to be scaled back (unless you’re visiting right around Christmas when things pick up again). If you don’t mind bundling up and skipping a show or two, it’s a peaceful time to explore the parks.
High Season
From April through October, things start to warm up—literally and figuratively. This is considered high season at Disneyland Paris, and for good reason. The weather is milder, the flowers are blooming, and the parks are buzzing with full entertainment schedules and longer daylight hours.
Of course, with all that magic comes a few more people. You’ll definitely see higher crowd levels during this time, especially during French school holidays and peak summer travel weeks. That said, Disneyland Paris crowds tend to feel more manageable than what you’d find at the U.S. parks, even during busy stretches. If you’re looking to experience the parks at their fullest, high season is a fantastic time to go. Just be ready to plan ahead and pack your patience.
Best Days of the Week for Low Crowds
Once you’ve decided which season works best for your trip, the next thing to think about is which days of the week to visit. Just like at other Disney parks, weekends at Disneyland Paris tend to be the busiest. Local families and visitors from nearby cities often head to the parks on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—especially when the weather is nice or there’s a special event.
If you want to avoid the heavier crowds, try to plan your park days for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. When NOT to Visit Disneyland Paris?
So when is it not the best time to go? There are a few dates I’d personally try to avoid—especially if you’re hoping for a more relaxed trip with smaller crowds.
The Christmas and New Year holiday period is magical, no doubt. The parks sparkle with festive lights, themed parades, and special entertainment. But it’s also one of the busiest times of the year. With schools out across Europe and plenty of local families making the most of the break, it can get packed. Unless you’re set on visiting for the holiday vibes, it might be worth skipping.
Mid-summer can also be tricky. July and August are peak travel months in Europe, which means heavier crowds and higher hotel prices. On top of that, Paris will be buzzing with major events in 2025 that could add even more visitors to the area.
The Tour de France wraps up in Paris on July 27, and the city draws massive crowds for the grand finale. A few weeks earlier, Fête de la Musique on June 21 fills the streets with free concerts and celebrations. And if you’re traveling in September, European Heritage Days (September 20–21) offer rare access to historic sites around Paris—but also bring more foot traffic to the area.

Should You Visit Disneyland Paris?
Absolutely! Disneyland Paris is a must, especially if you’re already a fan of the parks. If your family loves Disney like mine does, this one’s a true bucket list adventure.
You’ll find two theme parks, seven resort hotels, a golf course, and plenty of shopping and dining. It’s not just a quick stop—it’s a full-on destination.
One of the best parts? There are so many things here you won’t find at the U.S. parks. Rides like Crush’s Coaster and shows like CineMagique offer something totally new for seasoned Disney guests. And if you’re a foodie, you’ll love the unique snacks and restaurant options that give the parks a fun European twist.
There’s magic here you can’t experience anywhere else. So yes, I 100% think it’s worth the visit.
Is it Safe to Travel to Disneyland Paris?
If you’re not used to international travel, planning a trip to Disneyland Paris might feel a little intimidating. But the good news? It’s absolutely safe and Disney goes above and beyond to make sure of that.
The parks are clean, well-managed, and incredibly guest-friendly. Just like at the U.S. parks, safety and guest experience are a top priority.
If you’re coming from the States, you’ll be happy to know that most Cast Members speak English. You’ll be able to ask questions, get directions, and chat with team members with no problem at all.
And once you’re staying at one of the Disneyland Paris hotels, you’re inside that familiar Disney bubble. You’ll be able to get around easily, enjoy the parks, and relax knowing everything is designed to make your visit smooth and magical.
The Basics of Disneyland Paris
If you’re new to Disneyland Paris, here are a few things to know before you go.
First, there are two theme parks. Disneyland Park is most like Magic Kingdom or Disneyland in California with the classic castle, parades, and fairy tale vibes. Then there’s Walt Disney Studios Park, which feels like a mix between Hollywood Studios in Florida and California Adventure. It’s where you’ll find thrill rides, Pixar fun, and some exciting new additions.
The resort is also home to seven uniquely themed Disney hotels. Each one has its own personality. Sequoia Lodge feels like a cozy mountain getaway, while Hotel Cheyenne brings the Wild West to life with nods to Woody, Jessie, and all your Toy Story favorites.
Just a few minutes from the parks, you’ll find Val d’Europe—a shopping and dining hub that’s kind of like Disney Springs. With over 150 stores, 20 restaurants, and SEA Life Aquarium, it’s a great spot to unwind, explore, or pick up some non-Disney souvenirs during your stay.

Weather in Disneyland Paris
Weather plays a big role when deciding the best time to visit. If you’re used to the Florida or California parks, be prepared—Paris weather is a whole different story.
Winters are cold. From December through March, you can expect chilly temps and even the occasional snow. It’s a magical time to visit, but you’ll want to pack layers.
Spring warms up slowly. Early spring can still feel pretty brisk. And while April brings blooming flowers, May is usually the rainiest month—something to keep in mind when planning.
Summers are warm and sunny. July and August are the hottest months, with temperatures that can feel a little intense if you’re walking the parks all day.
Fall is lovely. Cooler temps return, the crowds thin out a bit, and the crisp air makes it a great time to explore both parks comfortably.
How Many Days in Disneyland Paris?
There’s a lot to see and do at Disneyland Paris, so I always recommend planning at least three full days in the parks. That gives you time to explore both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios without feeling rushed.
If you’re coming from the U.S. or traveling a long distance, it might be worth adding an extra day. You can use it to rest, adjust to the time difference, and enjoy your resort before diving into the parks.
